ENERGY BURST WEEK
Energy Burst Week raised over $32,500 in a virtual fundraising week on social media aimed at bringing our community together, while staying apart. During Energy Burst week, we provided our community with unique fundraising opportunities to help provide our amazing fundraisers and donors the BURST of energy that we all needed.
GIVE HOPE
A matching gift of $25,000 inspired our community to give hope during our annual spring appeal. The campaign highlighted the Albertson family and the memory of their daughter, Rachael.
COUSINS FOR A CURE
The Breslow Family and Friends hosted their Cousins for a Cure event to benefit The Logan Sloane Aronson in honor of Sydney Breslow Family Fund. The bi-annual event raised $196,000.
FACEBOOK FUNDRAISING
Facebook users have been celebrating their birthdays, holidays and any-day by creating Facebook Fundraisers to support the UMDF! Over $155,000 was raised by nearly 700 amazing fundraisers!
CUSTOM INK FUNDRAISER
The family of Edward Cassidy set up a Custom Ink shirt fundraiser with an awesome design for their mito warrior! Shirts were flying off the shelves and the event raised over $800!
ALBERTO GOLF OUTING
The 6th annual Carlos Alberto Memorial Golf Outing was held in September 2019 to raise funds for the Carlos Alberto Impact Fund with UMDF and raised over $10,000!
BREWING HOPE
The Conner Family hosted a Brewing Hope event to support the Kendall Conner Impact Fund with UMDF and raised over $52,700. The event offered beer tasting, food options, a silent auction and basket raffles all to support Kendall!
KENDRA SCOTT EVENTS
UMDF volunteers hosted ‘Kendra Gives Back’ events at Kendra Scott stores around the country. We had a few locations that held design events for our mito kids to create beautiful pieces of jewelry named after them!
STICK IT TO MITO
The Octorara Field Hockey team hosted their annual ‘Stick it to Mito’ event and raised $1,300 in memory of Wyatt Destephano! Way to go team!
